If all you have is Garbage bags and duct tape then basically cut the seam of 1 or 2 garbage bags so they are longer and only 1 layer. Then Tape it to the sides but try not to get the tape on the paint. Do at least 2 layers of bags and it will be fine. Just avoid the highway.
Well as this time is for open top cars you dont have to feel shy ….In case for you back windows take the carton big size and just cut as per you back wind sheild is then cover it up thanks
this might sound funny but what about a few runs of that clear plastic wrap that you usually use around the kitchen for covering food and stuff, a few layers of that and some thick sticky tape to hold the layers in the centre, and open the rear doors and run the wrap into the door openings then close them shut on the wrap as it’s only to get you down the road to the repair shop anyway…and maybe don’t open any windows while driving as the air will probably tear it all out…
I actually seen a car drive past me the other day and it had 4 people in it and the rear window was missing and they had nothing on it they didn’t care it was so funny, I guess they were lucky it didn’t rain that day…lol

If you’re driving it right to the shop, why cover it?
