You would have to replace the whole Bumper unfortunately and it would probably be about $200-300. The bad news for you is that the Suzuki Swift was recently found to be the car that is the most expensive small car to fix after low speed impact and minor damage.

From dealer around $460.48 plus tax. Aftermarket around $ 210.00. If other components are damaged you need to inspect that also. MAACO is running a special on bumper painting for about $139.00 also. Oh and you can replace this in your driveway with basic metric hand tools. There should be a shop that can reair it in your area for a nominal fee.

Is a “smash repairs” a body shop? (we speak english over here (:-) )

You won’t need a “whole bumper.” Those are assemblies which consist of a re-enforcement bar, impact absorber and cover. The cover is a urethane plastic and a crack can be repaired and re-painted.

Check with your local “smash repairer” (I like that phrase!) to see what it will cost.
