Straight off, there will be a lot of fanboys mentioning the RRoD on 360. DONT LISTEN TO THEM!! That problem was fixed within 18 months of release.

Now, onto the good points of each console.

360: better games, less problems within games, better online experience.

PS3: BluRay drive, quieter, free online.

Cons of both,

360: Online play is about the price of a game per year, but i think its well worth th money., Its louder.

PS3: The online experience is horrible, worst online Ive ever seen in my life. THere arent as many good games for it.

My favourite is the 360, cuz I enjoy it purely for gaming fun. If ur more into movies and more general entertainment tho, id say u should go for PS3. If u want it just for gaming fun, then 360 all the way.
