A friend of mine wrecked her car. Not serious, she hydroplaned at about 50 MPH. The right rear end hit a concrete barrier. smashed the rear panel good, right rear door wouldn’t close afterwards, knocked the back bumper off. The car is being repaired (full coverage ins.). Most of her friends and even one mech. (not involved) has told her to sell it right after it is fixed because it will never really be safe again. Looking for some opinions on the safety of repaired vehicles. Websites and aritcles would be helpful to. I have my own opinion but need more. The car was a 1995 Nissan sentra. 4 door aprox. 40’000 miles. Bought new in 95. Ran fine before no previous wrecks.
Opinions like, if this part or that part had to be replaced/notreplaced, then, yes/no would be great. She is worried it won’t be safe afterwards.
