to fix it? It’s been smashed and scattered into hundreds of pieces, so it’ll take someone who knows what they’re doing…

I have a point-and-shoot Samsung NV10, which I loved dearly but its lenses got smashed at a concert the other night. There is nothing wrong witht he camera, except for the lenses. The camera cost me about $300. I am thinking about sending it to a Samsung repair shop 400 miles away, but I’m not sure how much it’d cost or if I should just buy a new camera instead.
If repairing is not a good option, feel free to recommend me a different camera. I’d like something afford yet capable of taking beautiful pictures.

I took my 17 year old car to get repair work done and the final bill was $286.10 more than the estimate. This was about a 25% jump. Of course you are always going to find something else to fix on a car that old. Most shops I take it to get authorization B4 performaing additional tasks. If this happens to be a law in Colorado, will you please point me in the direction to find in the law books.

Are they responsible for safeguarding a car while its being worked on? I say this because I know someone who had their car broken into and had parts stolen. An audio player valued at around $800 was stolen. They claim that they are not responsible and will not replace the damaged or lost property (window was completely smashed as well I live in Canada where it is snowing quite radically at the moment, and the car is outside, this means the interior is pretty much screwed)

Also, on a side note when he had brought his car there previously it looked as if there was an attempt at stealing the player as there were indents as if someone had made an effort of prying it out but failed, as a result the player didn’t work after the mechanics had repaired the car (the original reason it was in the shop).

I have been with out my car for more than 2.5 months the repair shop keep doing a miss and miss, cause to call it a hit and miss would be lying. To this day the car is not running. Now to release my car it will cost me over $600 for repairs I didn’t tell them to make on my car. Since I have a new car I really don’t care if it sits there for a lifetime, but can they sale my car parts without having title to the car? And I am responsible for the repair cost that I didn’t authorized them to do?
