Well was it working before? If you tried to play it and it never worked then you should call nintendo and they will tell you your options. The reason for this problem is that some wiis do not have a double layer drive, so you will need one to play ssbb. I think it is free if you still have the warranty.
Recently Nintendo started using Dual Layer Discs because you can store more information on them. SSBB was the first game where these Dual Layer Discs were used. Some of the Wii’s (especially ones that have been subjected to lots of dust or cigarette smoke) have a hard time reading these discs because the lens is dirty. If that is the case, you need to contact nintendo because they are fixing them for free.
