Why is my GCN Memory Card Not Working on Wii?

Are you using 3rd party GCN memory cards? (IE Madctaz)

I’ve had this happen only once and it was because I tried to use a Madcataz memory card. Now I have two 1019, official Nintendo GCN memory cards, and have never had a problem.

Honestly i have no clue what could be wrong i suggest just gettin a new memory card. Make sure its one from nintendo and not a 3rd party.Also try cleanin the memory card something just might be wrong from having it so long without cleaning it.
